The recommended investment horizon is four to five years; certificates can be sold at any time at the current market price.
 

Capital protection certificates with participation
Capital protection certificates are aimed at investors who want to invest in the capital markets but value security. The aim is to preserve the invested capital at the end of the term. The issuers of the certificates (e.g. ZKB) guarantee the repayment of the capital invested if necessary.

An attractive return is sought, but this is secondary to the primary goal of capital protection.
